New Youth Resource Now Available: Euthanasia - How Merciful?

CFPL staff members Julia Beazley and Faye Sonier check out the new [ACTIVATE] booklet.The EFC has just released the second booklet in its [ACTIVATE] series! Entitled How Merciful, Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide, the resource was developed to educate youth and youth adults about the title issues.

The booklet includes current statistical and factual information, case studies, testimonies, scriptural foundation for the principles discussed as well as action items that can be undertaken by young people alone or in conjunction with their churches, families and youth groups.

Canadian Christian youth are our best hope for the protection of Canada’s most vulnerable. Youth have demonstrated that when we give them the chance to be equipped and empowered, they seize the opportunity and make their own voices heard.

The issue of euthanasia and assisted suicide is one that affects all Canadians - young and old. If Bill C-384 which is currently before the House of Commons is passed, it would be perfectly legal for a depressed 18 year old to seek and receive assisted suicide. Is this the kind of Canada they want to live in? Let's listen up!
